04 / 20 Annual Meeting Start: 6:00 pm End: 8:00 pm The Friends of Sugar Creek invite all members and the general public to our April 20 annual meeting at the Crawfordsville Public Library. The meting will start with a potluck dinner at 6. We will have a short business meeting, a review of the previous year's activities, and a guest speaker. Tom Swinford, regional ecologist for the Indiana DNR Division of Nature Preserves will speak about Sugar Creek and the natural areas that his department protects in Montgomery and Parke Counties. more info

04 / 24 Spring Creek Clean-up Start: 10:00 am End: 2:00 pm Friends of Sugar Creek is partnering with Mayor Coons and the City of Crawfordsville to sponsor its first creek clean-up of the year on Saturday, April 24, starting at 10 AM. Volunteers are asked to meet at the Elston Softball Diamonds to begin work. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. A barbecue lunch will be hosted for all volunteers at noon. The event is open to the public. Children under the age of 16 are asked to bring adult supervision. more info
