Spring Creek Clean-up

Friends of Sugar Creek is partnering with Mayor Coons and the City of Crawfordsville to sponsor its first creek clean-up of the year on Saturday, April 24, starting at 10 AM. Volunteers are asked to meet at the Elston Softball Diamonds to begin work. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. A barbecue lunch will be hosted for all volunteers at noon. The event is open to the public. Children under the age of 16 are asked to bring adult supervision.

Friends of Sugar Creek will also be dedicating three educational signs in the Sugar Creek Nature Park. Installation of the signs will take place during the morning hours with a dedication ceremony to be held at 1 pm. These signs feature information about the wildlife found in and around Sugar Creek and were sponsored by a grant from the Montgomery County Community Foundation.
